Wendy's is still a favourite, of course, "natural-cut" shenanigans aside. But everyone up here who's ever seen an American commercial break says the same thing about how much they're ripping us off.

Alex, can we do a comparison here? This is their latest deal, $6.49 for a half salad (apple pecan chicken this time) and one of a handful of other items (Jr. cheeseburger "deluxe"). What's this go for in the States? Also keep in mind our dollar is currently higher than yours.

So there's the eat-in restaurants with the full White Spot menu, and then they have these burger stands littered around the place called "Triple-O's" that only sell the burgers. And fries. And shakes. And beer!

Bacon cheddar burger w/mushrooms, and sweet potato fries (includes chipotle mayo).

And yes, they wrap up the burger with the pickle slice *over* the wrapper.

wtf

"COMPLETELY NATURAL; NOT PASTEURIZED"

"SUSTAINABLY BREWED; OUR WIND TURBINE GENERATES POWER FOR OUR STATE OF THE ART BREWERY"

"OUR LABELS ARE PRINTED WITH VEGETABLE BASED INKS"

Guess this bottle's going in the REGULAR trash!

4 Slices of bread (untoasted)
1 Jar of chocolate nutella
1 Jar of creamy peanut butter
1 Banana (sliced)

Spread the creamy peanut butter upon the bread to your liking, add a dollop of chocolate nutella on top, spreading it thusly. Next, arrange the banana slices to resemble a raccoons eerie visage. You'll swear your kitchen's haunted!

SPOOKY RACCOONS

You know that one place that continually underwhelms you with average food, but you have some lame excuse you make for why you keep going back? For Steamrollers the excuse is something along the lines of "it's healthy." Possibly the only burrito on the planet where everything in it is steamed. That's the gimmick.

The main selection is just chicken/beef/bean with supporting fillings, but they also have these odd flavour-of-the-month deals. This one's the "Asian-inspired" burrito. Pork, lime rice, kimchi, and edamame.

I asked what the thimble on the side was. They said it was pork juice, in case I found I needed "a little more" flavour. I presume it was harvested fresh from the steamer.
